Savage Model 1917 Automatic Pistol, c. 1920s, serial number 23609B, .380 caliber, checkered plastic grips marked "SAVAGE QUALITY" and with Indian medallions, marked on top of slide "SAVAGE ARMS CORP. UTICA, N.Y. U.S.A. CAL. 380./PATENTED NOVEMBER 21, 1905 - 9. M-M.," with one magazine, barrel lg. 4 1/4, overall lg. 7 1/8 in.
