Eisenhower Jacket Owned by Sargent Wade Martin, 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, c. 1944-45, olive drab wool jacket body, 82nd Airborne Division "All American" patch on the left sleeve, "Order of the Orange" aiguillette and a "Croix de Guerre" fourragere on the shoulder, sergeant's stripes on both sleeves, a glider wing, campaign ribbons, and a combat infantry badge on the left breast, Infantry and U.S. collar discs on the lapels, and a 101st Airborne Division patch on the right shoulder.
Note: Martin participated in the Sicily/Salerno invasion assigned to Darby's Rangers, Normandy, Operation Market Garden, and in Central Europe.
