Continental Inlaid Serpentine Fruitwood Commode, early 19th century, top with chamfered corners over two long drawers, shaped apron, on curvate legs with gilt-bronze-mounted sabot feet, ht. 34 1/2, wd. 50 1/2, dp. 22 3/4 in.
Estimate $800-1,200

Overall signs of age-typical wear and use including some scuffs and nicks. Drawer bottoms are splitting. Back is later than rest of piece.
