Mettlach Relief Pitcher, Germany, early 20th century, polychrome decoration with predominantly green and tan body, with figural head mask spout, body depicting hunting scene, on round footed base, with factory marks and inscribed underside with "2357/4/33/97" signed "J. Stahl," ht. 17 1/4 in.
Estimate $300-500

Underside of base drilled, possibly a lamp base. no other evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
