Description:

Louis XVI-style Ormolu-mounted Marquetry Vitrine Table, France, early 20th century, in the manner of Francois Linke, the hinged top with inset beveled glass opens to a velvet-lined compartment above a shaped apron with inlaid floral sprays framed by bronze accents cast as foliate arabesques, all on cabriole legs, ht. 18, wd. 43, dp. 25 in.

Top slightly bowed up in the center, does not meet latch fully. Legs each cut down and restored. Scattered minor chipped losses (particularly to front edge), lifting, cracking, and restorations to veneer. Several very minor spots of verdigris. Fabric with tears and minor deterioration.
