Description:

Two Emile Lessore Decorated Earthenware Plaques, England, c. 1860, each rectangular and polychrome enamel decorated, a depiction of a cherub holding a flower, 3 1/2 x 4 3/8; above a barnyard scene with children amused by rabbits, 5 x 6 1/2 in.; each artist signed; mounted together in a modern frame.
Estimate $800-1,200

Not examined out of frame. Each appears to be in very good condition throughout with no evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
