Large Wedgwood Encaustic Decorated Black Basalt Volute Krater Urn, England, late 18th/early 19th century, child masks to scrolled handles with swan's heads flanking terminals, iron red, white and black decorated depiction with offerings to a hero's shrine centering foliate borders and with elaborate palmettes below each handle, impressed mark, ht. 24 in.
