Paint-decorated Pine Six-board Chest, probably New England, early 19th century, with molded lift-top on a dovetail-constructed box, with flat molded base, original surface, putty-painted pea green and yellow quarter-fans on a yellow and rust stippled field, (imperfections), ht. 16 1/8, wd. 41 1/2, dp. 17 1/8 in.
Two-thirds of paint on top is worn away. Sides are very good. Wear on molded base.
