Champleve Temple Lantern and Pair of Bronze Censers and Covers, Japan, 19th/20th century, three-part pagoda form, with a domed hexagonal roof-shaped shade with a flaming lotus finial on top, six bells hanging from the roofline ends, decorated with Tokugawa family crests with three hollyhock leaves, a baluster-shape stand, decorated with various lotus scrolls bands and lappets in tiers, and the lamp holder with a latched door, decorated with openwork scrolls, electrified with a single socket, ht. 36; and the covered censer, tripod forms with animal feet, two shishi handles to the censer decorated with bird motifs, the cover with shishi-shaped knob, ht. 26 1/2 in.
