Cherry Tall Clock Attributed to Abel Stowell, Massachusetts, c. 1800, pierced fret above the fluted freestanding columns, roman numeral painted iron dial marked "Abel Stowell," ship's scene in the arch, fluted quarter columns flanking the full-length molded waist door, all resting on ogee bracket feet, eight-day time and hour strike movement, wooden pendulum rod with brass-faced bob, and two tin-cased weights, ht. 90 in.
