Two Tin-glazed Earthenware Tiles, England, c. 1770-80, probably Liverpool, attributed to Guy Green printshop, each black printed, one a rococo framed depiction of the fable The Bear and the Bee-Hives; the other with trellis border adorned with assorted motifs including sword, bow with quiver, flaming torch, eagle, lyre, and theatrical masks, all surrounding a central depiction with inscription "Mr. Moody in the Character of Teague", 5 x 5 in.

Bear: Restored to upper right and lower right corners; numerous glaze chips and abrasions surrounding egde.
Moody: Lower right corner chipped; surface wear spots to glaze; scattered glaze chips and abrasions surrounding edge.
