Large vertical map, copperplate engraving, variant with British ships in the river off Tarrytown; mounted on old linen, with hand tinting of the Hudson River, Long Island Sound, and other bodies of water in an ochre-colored wash, troop movements and camps also colored in the same ochre and red, horizontal wrinkle obscures the legibility of the imprint, no loss, toned, 30 x 20 3/4 in.
