Gilt-lacquered Bronze Buddha Statue, Thailand, late 19th century, Rattanakosin style, seated cross-legged in dhyanasana with his right hands in bhumisparsa mudra, his head without ushnisha, dressed in a robe filled with molded floral and foliate roundels and bands, some details with glass insets, mounted on a three-tiered pyramid-like throne, the back lacquered in red with two loopholes, ht. 19 1/4, wd. 16 3/4 in.
