George III Sterling Silver Argyle, London, 1787-88, Thomas Wallis II, maker, with a wicker-wrapped handle, a cover with a baluster finial, and two spouts: one hinged for the warming chamber, on a circular foot engraved "Coronation of George the Fifth June 22nd 1911," ht. 6 in., approx. 13.3 troy oz.

In good overall condition, wick fragile with numerous cracks and losses (possibly replaced at some point),minor dents along inner lip of rim. Small spot lacking tarnish along hinged spout (possibly a very minor repair),scattered small age-related wear to surface. Chamber does not appear to leak. Hinged lid to spout lacking hallmarks.
