Grande Sonnerie Carriage Clock, France, c. 1890, brass and beveled glass Corniche case with carrying handle, porcelain Roman numeral dial with subsidiary alarm dial, selection lever on case bottom marked Hours Quarters, Quarters, Silent, eight-day, time, choice of strike, and alarm movement with repeat on demand button on top, regulated by a lever platform escapement, ht. with handle extended 7 in.
Clock is currently working but may benefit from an overhaul. Rear door glass chipped on one edge.
