Pert Bally Quarter-striking Candlestick Clock, Paris, 1875, blue porcelain Roman numeral chapter ring marked Pert Bally/Paris with two bells above and eight-day, quarter-striking, pendulum movement stamped with maker's name and mark mounted behind, supported on a gilt cast brass oval bead-decorated frame with porcelain panel depicting a putto holding a bountiful harvest, on a six-sided marble base with cast rope edging, all on a felt and ebonized pedestal with glass dome, ht. 16 in.
