Two 19th Century Mercury Stick Barometers, Europe, a J.H. Steward ebonized stick barometer with dual dials, and verniers, two bone vernier adjustment knobs, mercury thermometer in throat, terminating in a stepped molded base; the other barometer with cross-banded decoration, brass dials, and hinged upper and mid doors, lg. 43 to 47 in.
J.H. Steward Lacking lower cistern door, some molding missing on base, no cistern. French example lacking thermometer scale, missing veneer, upper dial missing hand, cistern cover missing.
