Fachralo Kazak Rug, Southwest Caucasus, third quarter 19th century, the concentric, gabled, ivory center medallion with large latch-hooks and ram's horns on a red field with latch-hook devices and eight-pointed stars, all below a thin gold prayer niche and within an ivory, gold, medium blue, and blue-green highly stylized serrated leaf border, 4 ft. 1 in. x 3 ft. 7 in.
