Two Late 18th and Early 19th Century Signed Appointments, a 1788 Rhode Island commission signed by Governor John Collins, electing Simcon Seamans to the office of Ensign of the Second Company of Militia, (overall toning); and an 1818 New York document appointing Abraham J. Hardenbergh a Justice of the Peace in Ulster County, (split along center crease, water staining, foxing, toning).
