Three Large German Bisque Head Dolls, a toddler girl, head marked "11 Melitta 11," with fixed brown glass eyes, applied top lashes, painted eyelashes and eyebrows, open mouth with two inset top teeth, short brown wig, composition toddler body, pink cotton dress, lace and cotton bonnet, and white shoes; and two large Kestner girl dolls: one with head marked "M 1/2 Made in Germany 16 1/2 146," with sleeping blue glass eyes, painted eyelashes and eyebrows, open mouth with four inset top teeth, long brown wig, fully jointed composition body, mustard velvet hair ribbon, cotton undergarments, cream silk and lace dress, black socks, and brown and black spectator booties; the other head marked "made in Germany M 1/2 16 1/2 164," with sleeping brown glass eyes, painted eyelashes and eyebrows, open mouth with four inset top teeth, light brown curly wig, fully jointed composition body, cream cotton dress, white socks, and black shoes, ht. to 32 in.
Toddler girl: pate glued down, not removed, some minor soiling and scuffing to face, appears to be a hairline from doll's right ear to right eyebrow, crazing to body.
Kestner 146: wig glued to plaster pate, not removed, neck loose, minor scuffing and soiling, no evidence of hairlines or repairs when lit from outside. Repairs to wrists.
Kestner 164: old plaster pate not removed, scuffing, soiling, possible repair along mold seam from pate to top of right ear, repair to finger on right hand.
