Large Kestner Bisque Socket Head Doll, marked "made in Germany 0 1/2 18 1/2 142" to back of head, with sleeping blue glass eyes with applied top lashes, painted eyebrows and lower lashes, open mouth with four inset top teeth, light brown curly wig, fully jointed composition body, white cotton and lace undergarments, faded brown velveteen and black silk trim dress, white socks, and black shoes, accompanied by a silk hat, a small velvet flower arrangement, a pair of white gloves, a silk parasol, and a small leather purse, ht. 36 in.

Possible hairline along mold line on right side of doll's face, could also just be soiling settling onto raised area. No repairs or cracks visible from inside of head. Numerous paint chips scattered across top half of head to front and back. Some minor losses to body around neck socket. Repairs and cracks to fingers and wrists.
