Soumak Carpet, Northeast Caucasus, late 19th century, a vertical column of three flattened royal blue and apple green diamond-shaped medallions within a larger rust-colored medallion and gold spandrels, all with snowflake- type rosettes, zoomorphic animals, hooked diamonds, and other various polygons drawn throughout, ivory octagon and bracketed rectangle main border, "running dog" minor border, 9 ft. 5 in. x 7 ft.
