Inlaid Mahogany Keepsake Box, America, mid-19th century, the molded rectangular top inlaid with contrasting and stained woods showing a three-masted vessel, with quilted interior, opens to eleven compartments, five covered, the center compartment's cover inlaid with stripes and lettered "Wilma" in pen, the four flanking compartments checker-inlaid, all lifting out to reveal a hidden well below with three drawers, in a dovetailed box with applied molded edge, refinished, ht. 5, wd. 14 1/2, dp. 10 1/2 in.
