Shaker Red Oak Bench, probably New Lebanon, New York, c. 1830, rectangular plank top with chamfered underside edge, on splayed rectangular, chamfered, tapering legs, old refinish with remnants of gray and red paint, (imperfections), ht. 14 1/4, wd. 50 3/4, dp. 16 1/4 in.
Provenance: The Andrews Shaker Collection.
Some wear on bottom of legs. top has stains
