Extensive Meissen Blue OnionPattern Porcelain Dinner Service, Germany, c. 1900, each with gilded rim and typical underglaze blue decoration, including thirty-four dinner plates, dia. 9 3/4; twelve salad plates, dia. 8 1/4; twelve soup plates, dia. 9 1/4; twelve dessert plates with reticulated borders, dia. 8; twelve teacups with eleven saucers; fourteen coffee cups with twelve saucers; oval fish platter, lg. 22; two oval serving platters, lg. 17, 18; two oval shallow serving bowls, lg. 9; two circular platters, dia. 13, 14; covered soup tureen, with scrolled foliate handles and finial, overall lg. 14 1/2; circular vegetable dish and cover, dia. 12; square salad bowl with lobed rim, lg. 9; circular serving dish, dia. 9 1/2; square serving dish, lg. 9 1/2; square dessert dish with reticulated border, lg. 9 1/2; two dessert compotes with reticulated borders, ht. 5, dia. 8; two low dessert compotes with reticulated borders, ht. 2 1/2, dia. 8; globular shaped teapot and cover, lg. handle to spout 11; cream jug, ht. 5 3/4; covered jelly pot with attached undertray together with a small serving spoon; oval two-handled sauceboat with attached tray, overall lg. 10; oval sauce tureen and cover with attached tray, overall lg. 8 1/2; two serving spoons; two circular trivets, dia. 6; and eleven knife rests, lg. 3 3/4 in.; all with crossed swords marks.

Rose finial to teapot with two slight chips to edges. Two dessert plates with old and discolored repairs, one of 2" and one of 4". One soup plate with an old discolored rim chip repair. All else in very good condition throughout with no evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
