Gorham Gold-washed and Diamond-mounted Sterling Silver Ciborium, Providence, Rhode Island, 20th century, additionally marked "FWN," lid and foot similarly decorated with radiant strapwork motifs, the lid with a central crown-form final surrounded by twelve diamonds; the body with a shallow bowl decorated with openwork tracery over an agate ring, raised on a short stem terminating in a splayed hexagonal foot mounted with twenty-two diamonds, with a presentation inscription in Latin to the underside, ht. 6 1/2 in.
