Kashmir Moon Shawl, Kashmir, second quarter 19th century, the circular center medallion inset with a reticulated pattern of hooked vines and flowers, upon an ivory field with allover design of large serrated boteh and fools cap variant design, the quarter medallions in each corner mimic the central design, the top and bottom border also with fools cap variant and boteh, with the lateral panels comprised of radial flower motifs, 4 ft. 11 in. x 4 ft. 10 in.
