Sailor's Paint-decorated Canvas and Macrame Wall Pocket, late 19th century, with polychrome painted rectangular canvas panel depicting a scene with two ships and two schooners, each with four to six masts, sailing in coastal waters with a lighthouse in the distance, over a cotton macrame panel with four canvas pockets decorated with a barkentine, a sixteen-point star, a schooner, and a five-point star, above another macrame panel, the whole edged with painted braided ropework, (imperfections),29 1/2 x 22 1/2 in.
