Federal Carved and Inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Clock, Ephraim Willard, Roxbury, Massachusetts, c. 1800, the tombstone-shaped white-painted and polychrome gilt dial with a rocking ship in the arch, with seconds hand, calendar aperture, lettered "E. Willard/BOSTON," and brass eight-day weight-driven movement, the Roxbury case with brass stop-fluting and inlaid stringing and molded waist door, on ogee bracket base, (minor restoration),ht. 97 in.
