George III Sterling Silver Covered Tankard, London, 1761-62, maker's mark "WC" within a rectangular cartouche, the domed cover with pierced thumbpiece, balustroid body with reeded band and engraved with an armorial, hollow scrolled handle monogrammed "S/IS," on a spreading foot, ht. 8 in., approx. 28.4 troy oz.

Dent to rim of cover. Armorial later, on top of old monogram removal. Scattered pin prick-size dents.
