Rembrandt van Rijn (Dutch, 1606-1669)

Beggar in a High Cap, Standing and Leaning on a Stick, c. 1630, only state, probably a lifetime impression (Hind, 15; White & Boon/Hollstein, 162), collector's stamp to verso (see below). Etching on laid paper, plate size 6 3/16 x 4 3/4 in. (15.6 x 11.9 cm), framed.
Condition: Margins approximately 1/8 inch, a good impression, pencil annotations to verso, brown paper tape hinges to upper corners on verso.

Provenance: Ex-collection of Friedrich Kalle (1804-1875), Cologne et Bonn (Lugt, 2021).
