Two Rookwood Vases

Cincinnati, Ohio, 1917, Charles Stuart Todd, artist
The taller vase with incised band of leaves below the rim in glazes of peach, green, red and yellow trailing into a body of deep pink, ht. 9 1/2; the smaller cylindrical vase with incised band of geometric devices in blue, green, purple, and yellow glazes trailing into a body of purple/blue, ht. 6 1/2 in., both stamped with flame mark and date, numbered, incised C.S.T., the smaller vase with an X cut into the glaze on base.
