Four Cases with Nine Photographic Portraits, a sixth-plate daguerreotype portrait of a young woman holding a book, with touches of paint on her silk bow and the book cover, in a pressed leather/paper case; a pressed leather book-form case containing four ninth-plate portraits: two of women, a boy, and a man three with painted sky in background; a sixth-plate ambrotype portrait of a seated boy wearing a kilt and sporran, in an inlaid black lacquer case; and a sixteenth-plate oval daguerreotype portrait of a young woman in a hinged velvet case with two postage stamp size tintypes of the same woman and a young soldier, in brass mats.
