Sixth-plate Daguerreotype of Passed Midshipman Kidder Randolph Breese, U.S.N., c. 1852 wearing his naval officers uniform with arms crossed, Breese was on the Perry expedition, during the Civil War served at New Orleans, Vicksburg, Ft. Fischer, and later at the Naval Academy.
Provenance: Part of a collection sold by the descendants of Breese.
