Three Woven Blue and White Wool and Cotton Coverlets and a Four-color Wool and Cotton Coverlet, the four-color with corner maker's label "Gabriel Rauser, 1843."
712- four-color coverlet- 10 in. tear near center, several frayed areas, two ends are shortened/trimmed, toning.
# 1 Coverlet to the left of the three in photo- with nine-square checkerboard motif- several losses to indigo wool the largest area is about 2 1/2 in dia. and about 20 smaller spots, some light staining shows on light side.
#2 center coverlet of three with pine tree border- is only one width, one end is bound with woven green wool edging, no holes, a few scattered light stains.
#3 far right of three coverlets in photo- the other half of the center coverlet, is only one width, one end is bound with woven green wool edging, no holes, a few scattered light stains.
