Early Embroidered Silk Apron/Panel, America, probably 18th century, ivory silk panel with polychrome silk embroidery, floral and figural imagery, with various types of stitching, backed with contemporary fabric, 20 x 40 in.

Provenance: Formerly property of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

Wear, losses to silk, some deterioration, staining, embroidery appears to be good, backed with contemporary fabric.
