Description:

Four American and European Textiles, probably three dating to 19th century, including a fringed satin shawl with polychrome chenille embroidery, a beige silk shawl with floral design, an embroidered black satin kerchief, possibly Austrian, and a triangular black silk scarf with net, fringe, and lace trim.

Provenance: Formerly property of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

All black triangular scarf with tear at top, chenille embroidered with discoloring/fading to satin, embroidery good, no holes or tears, black satin kerchief worn, with fading/ wear to silk, embroidery good, ivory shawl with a few spots but overall good.
