Description:
Two Eastern European/Russian Metallic-threaded Embroideries, two triangular textiles, possibly kerchiefs or head coverings, one in purple silk, the other in black satin, with intricate metallic embroidery; sold with a linen apron of similar origin, also with metallic embroidery.
Provenance: Formerly property of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
