Description:

Three Fringed Silk Embroidered Shawls, silk, one smaller in size, orange with polychrome embroidery, possibly Cuban, two larger ivory silk, one with bright pink allover floral pattern and fringe, the other with polychrome floral embroidery, likely Chinese, measuring 35 to 60 in.

Provenance: Formerly property of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
Estimate $300-500

Some loose threads to each, a few stains to multicolored embroidery as well as to smaller orange scarf.
