Description:
Eleven Continental Textiles, eastern Europe, southeastern Europe, and the Middle East, 19th/20th century, including a Romanian sheer silk headdress, Croatian embroidered scarf and kerchief, a Slovak lace nuptial kerchief, two gauze and silk shawls, a Syrian natural cotton scarf with striped borders, and a sheer woven scarf with gold and silver floral embroidery from the Macedonia region.

Printed red kerchief with small hole to corner, one brown striped sheer with tears and holes, lace kerchief with stain to center of net, yellow-patterned gauze shawl with hole to center and a couple of brown spots, Macedonian embroidery overall good with a couple of spots to center, Syrian scarf with ink mark or stamp to center and with a few pulls to fabric, three embroidered scarves/headclothes all with staining to center but embriodery in tact, one has loose edge which can be reattached.
