Description:

Two Ivory Silk Embroidered and Fringed Piano Shawls, both traditional square designs, one smaller with monochrome floral pattern and metallic gold highlights, the other Chinese polychrome with floral and bird design, measuring 35 and 50 in. at center.

Provenance: Formerly property of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

A few very small dark spots to smaller shawl, overall great condition.
