Victorian Sterling Silver Egg Cup Holder, London, marks possibly for 1872, George Fox, maker, the reticulated floriform base with engraved monogram, lion head decoration, and beaded handle with twisted stem, with holding pegs for five matching egg cups, each goblet-form cup with beaded rim and foot, pierced openwork body, lion's head and ring handles, engraved monogram to foot, and impressed marks to body, approx. 20.1 troy oz., cup ht. 2 3/4, overall ht. 6 in.

Some loss to gold wash, minor surface wear, overall excellent condition.
