Samson Fighting the Lion
Signed with the artist's fingerprint, monogram, and numbered "...106/210" on the
reverse, identified on a presentation plaque l.c.
Bronze with dark brown patina, 6 x 3 x 2 1/4 in. (15.2 x 7.6 x 5.7 cm),mounted to a wooden plinth.
Condition: Dust to the interstices.
Estimate $800-1,200

Inscribed "This statue was created by Jacques Lipchitz/ in honor of the election of/ HERBERT I. CORKIN/ to the Society of Honor of the Reform Jewish Appeal/ 1967-1968" on the presentation plaque, screw-mounted to plinth, no additional condition issues to report.
