Ivory Crucifix-form Watch, possibly Continental, c. 1630, the carved ivory diptych case with depiction of The Passion of Christ, the annunciation, the manger scene, and Christ bearing the cross to Calvary and the Crucifixion on the hinged lid and back, the sides carved in foliate relief, the interior with central Roman numeral chapter ring, single hand, and religious iconography, hinged swing-out movement with decorated backplate, ivory crown wheel and train, ht. 3, wd. 2 1/4 in.
