Description:

18kt Gold "Puffy Cube" Necklace, Stuart Golder, the five graduating "puffy cubes" of patchwork and woven multicolored gold bezel-set with circular-cut rubies, each with maker's mark, the largest approx. 11/16 in., strung on woven chain.

Note: Stuart Golder fabricates various colored gold wires in his studio before intricately weaving them together, and then carefully joins the components to create a finished artwork. Golder's awards include a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, three Ohio Arts Council fellowships, and an award from Ornament magazine. Several of his pieces are in the permanent collection of the National Museum of American Craft, Renwick Gallery, Washington, DC.
