Satsuma Vase, Japan, 19th century, ovoid shape with enamel and gold decoration of lions in a landscape with flowers, water, and rocks, high relief gilded and enameled peonies form a band at the shoulder, with brocade design bands at neck and base, on pierced stylized floral foot, (loss),ht. 9 5/8 in.
