Lot of Two Framed Marine Works: Arctic Whaling Scenes, and American Ship at Sea. Arctic Whaling Scenes reportedly by Charles Belmont, according to inscriptions on the reverse. Graphite on paper, 15 3/4 x 20 1/4 in.; American Ship at Sea indistinctly signed, possibly "Joseph Bergstrom" l.r., graphite and crayon on paper, 10 3/8 x 15 5/8 in. Condition: Arctic Whaling Scenes with toning and light stains; American Ship at Sea with light moisture stains on right side, tear u.r., minor toning, small loss u.l. corner.
