Jade Vase, China, Ming dynasty, 17th century, of archaic drinking vessel gu shape, carved in low relief with stylized taotie masks, separated by notched flanges, the stone of gray white color with artificial tiny black holes simulating archaic style, ht. 7 1/8 in.
