Gilt-bronze Mahakala Yab-yum Group, Tibet, 18th/19th century, stepping to left in pratyalidhasana on reclining figures atop a lotus stand, the six-armed divinity embracing his consort in yab-yum with his primary arms, wearing scull crowns on each of his three heads, his hair in a towering mass of stylized flames pigmented orange red, ht. 8 1/4 in.

Provenance: Annelise Freiheit Collection and in a private collection since.
