Pair of Gilt-ivory Foo Dogs, China, 19th century, one finely carved as a foo dog playing with brocade beribboned ball, the other one playing with two younglings, each standing on double-lotus base, Chenghua mark to the base, ht. 5 5/8 in.

Gilding to the eye sockets, ribbons, and double-lotus stand, wear to the gilding, vertical hairlings, abrasion to the base
